Our Senior Clinician

We are a denture clinic based in Ashbourne on the doorstep of Dublin but serving the entire country.

Our senior clinician, Ashling Beegan, DD, has worked and trained in Canada and returned home in 2015.

She was the first female registered with the dental council as a CDT. She graduated in Denturism from George Brown university Ontario. She then sat her licensing exams with the college of Denturists Ontario where she became a licensed denturist, DD. She is also a member of the Denturist Association of Ontario and the Denturist Group of Ontario.

Before this, Ashling graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree B.Sc., Dental Technology.

With over 18 years of experience in this industry, Ashling is highly skilled in all aspects of removable prosthetics.

The National Denture Centre is fully approved by the HSE to offer denture services to medical card holders both in our clinic in Ashbourne and also in public and private nursing homes. We also service patients in hospitals and home care facilities. Our state of the art laboratory is registered with the Health Products Regulatory Authority, giving our patients peace of mind that our dentures are manufactured to the highest level of care and attention.

We are currently reaching out to public and private nursing home facilities in our area with patients wishing to avail of their medical cards. What we guarantee is a unique level of service that is driven by compassion and respect for our elderly patients .

Free aftercare
We care deeply about how our patients are doing once they leave our clinic with their new dentures. As it takes a few weeks for new dentures to bed in properly, we are always available to give advice or to carry out any adjustments as needed free of charge
We take medical cards
Accessibility
Our ground floor clinic with a double doors entrance and disabled toilet facilities is completely wheelchair accessible and easy on low mobility patients
Same day repairs
Where possible, we endeavour to offer repairs in a 2-3 hour turn around. This assumes that we don’t need to take an impression to carry out the repair.
House calls
We are well equipped and more important have the experience, to carry out visits to your home, nursing home facility or hospital

I was really Compelled to write this review as I had suffered for at least five years with a very painful denture ( from a very expensive and well-known dentist in Dublin) I had tried to get my denture fixed. Nothing Worked. . The National Denture Centre clinic came highly recommended from a very good friend of mine, and even though it seemed quite far away from Wicklow I Went on his high recommendation. Well it was by far worth the journey (which actually was quite short once on the M50 ).. the Welcoming Reception, Spotless clinic clinic , the service,the attention to detail , as mine was a tricky case. Explaining everything, and working with me until it was perfect, this has literally melted away five years of pain and great discomfort.. my denture its self looks completely natural I can’t believe I waited so long to go to somebody so good.
